1984/1982 - interchangeable??

I am running an '84 Johnson/Evenrude electric start with remote steering. I need to replace the pan and the cowling. I have found an '82 35hp with a tiller handle/pull start. Will this pan and cowling work on my '84? <br /><br />Chuck

Welcome Chuck,<br /><br />In order to do a proper search you'll need to post some model #'s.<br /><br />Or you can go to this link web page and click on parts lists, you'll br able to find detailed diagrams and parts lists for both motors.

Yes, the cowling and pan from 81 up to at least 88 will interchange.
