Just got a 1984 8hp Mariner(8VL 6G1-L-308585), made by Yamaha, she starts right up and idles good for a couple of minutes, starts to run rough and will die. Checking the spark plugs, the bottom one gets water on it. I replaced the inner exhaust plate gaskets and the head plate gasket. Still gets wet. Made sure that its not water in the gas. Checked the carb, no water. Not sure what the try next?
