1984 Chrysler 90hp Charger Trim Tilt replacement?

Hey All,

Got my $20 snowbank special mounted and going on my boat, but one thing I don't thin is fixable it the trim and tilt. The entire unit seems trashed beyond repair.

Has anyone got any information of possible replacement or aftermarket units that could be adapted? I really don't want to have to buy a while new engine mount assembly with a working trim tilt.

I'll post some pics of the existing unit when I get home from work tonight.

The T@T from the early 80's to the early 90's should swap out.
After 86 the wiring was different, the relays and pump style changed.
You can use the newer style with a little modification.

You can buy a CMC Tilt and trim unit that bolts onto the transom, and the motor bolts to it. Nice part is, if you ever change motors, you aren't drilling a new set of holes in your transom.
