1984 GM V8 w/ mercruiser drive.

Hi folks.
I am going to see a 1984 Chris Chraft Scorpion 215 with a GM 350 V8 and a Mercruiser Alpha One Drive, and I am wondering what the recommended compression range for this size engine is.
Also, it needs a power steering pump replaced which the owner has already bought, just needs installing.

Any help appreciated.

all the numbers should be within 10psi. I would expect to be in the 150psi range

Nope,.... Just the typical mechanical repair,...

worse case with the power steering pump is you may need to transfer your pulley. go to autozone or advanced auto and borrow their power steering pulley puller.
