Ok, pulled the lower unit on this last week and put in a new impeller, got it wet the other day and no pee out the pee hole, came on here read around a bit and started checking for blockage in the lines from pump to motor and found an issue with the copper tube going from the top down.
here's what I did.

Pulled the hose off of the 90 at the back of the powerhead and blew back thru the motor with the lower unit off, no air came out the end of the copper tube(could hear it coming out up top), I gently wiggle it a little and it falls out in my hand.

Now I can MAYBE see where I think it came out from with a flashlight but not enough to feel confident about it, from what I can tell, there's no way to access this without pulling the powerhead??? This is where I need help, is this the only way to put this tube back in place and make it seal ? I could probably get my arm up in the hole, but not knowing what I'm doing(trying to do) is a hindrance there.... any suggestions please?

I assume there's another rubber connector up there somewhere???

Ok, a little further along and it's more obvious I don't know what I'm doing... So... water pumped into the flush port results in water coming out the 90 at the back of the power head.

I managed to get the copper tube reconnected(or not) --back in the right hole now lol... still not getting water back up the tube tho I do if I hook the hose to the bottom of it now... so it's not getting out of the pump, or the pumps not creating enough pressure... there's also some blowout around the top of the tube where it connects to the bottom of the powerhead, but not much at all.

Will try to pull it again tommorow and check the pump again though now it seems I've managed to mess up the shifter somehow...

Ok dropped the lower unit again and set it in a bucket and put the drill on the shaft, it pumps out of the copper tube fairly well, about 4-6 inches of "fountain" at 850 rpm... is this enough "head" to get it up through the motor?

I can pump thru fine with the water hose, but still not getting anything with the motor running...I put the pump back together the same way it came apart and it appears correct according the diagrams I've found online... however there was an O-ring I couldn't place when putting it back together, the old one didn't have it so I didn't use it...about the same size as the dia of the impeller.... any suggestions anyone?
