Hey guys, quick question.
On this 84 Lund Mr. Pike (w/ 1984 Merc 50hp 4-cyl 2-stroke) that I've been working on, I have a 4-wire harness coming out of the throttle arm assembly, of which 3 of the wires go into a plug that plugs into the trim pump. There is a brown/white wire on this harness also that splits off and has a ring terminal on it. This terminal wasn't connected when I received the boat, just hanging there.
Should this wire be disconnected, and if not, where does it connect to? I've looked through what diagrams I have and they don't tell me anything. Search hasn't brought up much.
Help!
