1984 Merc 50hp 2 stroke - Water pump how To??

I need to install a new impeller/water pump kit in my 1984 4 cyl 2 stroke 50hp (brown)

Can someone give me a small how to....my concern is the shifter linkages

I have the pump and parts, just need to drop the unit without effecting the shifts when it goes back together...

Or does someone know where the manual is online...
