1984 Mercury 75 HP with tilt/trim. Tach Harness Question

I have a 1984 Mercury 75 Hp with tilt/trim

My tach harness has 5 wires coming out of it , can someone please tell me which on goes where???

Purple.......
Grey with blue stripe.......
Brown with white stripe......
Blue..........
White........


Does anyone know or have a wiring diragram on the net.

These colours don't seem right....

If you have a 5 wire harness the colours should be:
Purple.... Power, with the key ON
Black.... Ground
Gray.... Tacho signal
Brown/Wht... Trim gauge (if fitted)
Tan.... External alarm (but can be used for temp gauge)
