I have looked at a a 84 Ranger bass boat I am considering buying to restore. It has some of the gel coat (drivers side) cacking a seperating. Can those places be sanded out and repaired? It needs carpet replaced also. It has been sitting out in the elements but the floor and casting decks are sound and there are no cracks around the mounts at the transom or under the boat. I would appreciate any input you can give me.
