Started project 10/2015 - It's been a long painful process but starting to make progress. Was (And still am new to boating) Brought the boat and found out the hard way, I got more than I bargained for. Stringers and most of the inside were shot. Originally, I was just planning to repair the bad parts, but it just kept getting worst as I started the teardown.

Thank you. Probably should have done this early on, just didn't know any better. This is from June 2016. I am a bit further along and will continue to post the photo's. Once I decided to bite the bullet and make a center console out of it I did a few thing. First I raised the deck about 8' and once I get the motor back in and see the new trim line I plan to make it a self bailer. Here is a few pictures from June of last year. I'll post more later.

While lurking on this site and a few other, along also with the advice of some friends, I decided to use rough cut 1 x 10 Cypress for the initial stringers I put them down using Epoxy Resin peanut butter and then followed up with Epoxy and 1708 mat 3 layers to the hull. I also fill the side area with 2 lbs foam. I will be using 4lbs foam under the aluminum gas tank. On the Transom I used 2 pieces on 3/4 exterior plywood epoxied and screw together. I also decide to leave a 3 inch space at the bottom and laid up solid with 1708 fiberglass and Epoxy. After changing plans and making this a center console and some additional research, I raised the floor using very dried treated 1 x 8.

As I continue this build I'd appreciate any advice. thanks for the help along the way.

The pictures below is where I am at as of today. This is how it will be when finish, at least the design..Still have a lot tied down work, along with glassing. Wanted to make sure I understood the layout and where I want seats, maybe a livewell, storage,etc.. My Plan for over the motor is to have a flat deck, 2 portable mounts for fishing seats that will open up. When not fishing I plan to have a mat will fit over it.
