1985 60Hp Remote Control

We just got the boat out of the shop and they said that it is running fine now, but the remote control is in bad shape. You can start the boat in gear and it is just in bad shape. I would like to know where I can get a used one or if anybody here has one for sale. I am not sure where to post this topic. Please let me know if anybody can help.

I assume you have tried online ads such as ebay or craigslist?

i buy them all the time on ebay. you need one with the big red plug, and if you have trim & tilt, you need one with that. you can use a control with the T & T on a motor without.

Yeap the big red plug. The T&T the previous owner put on is mounted on the console with the steering wheel. I am looking now on ebay and other places. The reason I want to get another one is becuase the shop said that you are able to start the motor with it in gear and alos some high rev thing is not working or something like that.
