1985 70 hp johnson tach connection

hello everyone i have a 1985 70 hp johnson with<br />the cd3 ignition system. i just put it on my boat<br />could someone tell me where to hook the tach wire<br />on the engine. that comes from my tach in the dash<br />you can e-mail me at dillon@wireco.net<br /><br /> thanks all

tntony,<br /><br />You should have a tach. connection on the back of your control box. It's just below the throttle friction adjustment screw.<br /><br />It makes hook up a snap.

thank you djohn19 i will check that out and see if<br />it wont be easer to make the connection there and<br />save a lot of time
