1985 85hp Force-water Flow Question

I Just Bought A Bayliner Capri With An 85 Hp Force,best I Can Tell,where The Impeller Pumps The Water Out,the Exaust Also Comes Out There Too(as Well As At The Bottom)it Has Two Holes And Water Sprays Out At Idle And Really Sprays At Higher Rpm,but Lots Of Steam Comes Out Also,i Know Heat And Water Make Steam But Is This Normal,i Have Dynotrac With 150 Merc Which Is Different,and The Capri Is 16 Ft Runs Bout 35,is This Bout Right,(dynotrac Runs 71,so Not Sure)thanks For Any Replies.

Sounds normal.Remember they operate different in the water.Jerry

Thanks Jerry,only Owned Mercs And Inboards,just Wasnt Sure How These Force Engines Ran,swapped Mechanic Work And A Little Cash For Boat But Still Dont Want To Put Alot In The Engine If Theyre Not Much Count Ya Know.
