1985-86 85 hp Force

I am working on a 1985-86 85 hp force. The motor started running ruf. Found running on two cyl. I have got fire back to all three. The carbs all three had about 1 oz water in the bowls. Cleaned and rebuilt. After reinstalling the carbs the motor tries to crank but will not. Has backfired through the exhaust several times. The plugs are dry when pulled out. Have also replaced them and they are still showing dry when removed. I am getting fuel to the carbs and the fuel pump is pumping fuel. If you check the spark on the number 2 cyl it will knock the h-------- out of you holding the cap with a pair of plug pliers.

You may have a sheared flywheel key. Are you sure you have the wires hooked back up correctly and they are not reversed?
