I just got this boat and found livewell inlet and outlet holes plugged in hull. Does anyone know how these livewells are supposed to work? ie. How do they fill and drain, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

:welcome: damaxc to iboats. Great having you join us...

I would assume that if there is a factory installed live well, that there also would be the appropriate plumbing installed in the transom and actual inlet and outlet lines run as well. That is unless the PO removed them for some reason or other. So if the lines are still there and there is a live well switch and pump you should be able to remove the plugs from the lines and bring the live well back to life. Remove one of the plugs and run a water hose through it to see where the water goes or comes out of the transom. Then do the same with the other plugged line as well. If all is still connected, see if the live well pump is working. If not or it is missing, buy a new one and reconnected up and it should work fine...

Thanks captain; I found the pumps and know you're right about the plumbing but I still don't know how the wells fill. Do they just do so thru the drain holes when you launch?? Thanks again

It depends on the design. Some fill when launched some fill by the pumps.
