1985 Bayliner Capri Kicker Motor Mount

Hi,

I have a 1985 Bayliner Capri 1950 bow rider. I was wondering if it is possible to mount a kicker bracket on this and where it should be mounted to? What one do you guys recommend? Also will this boat need a long shaft or short shaft motor?

Here is a picture of the back end of the boat.

I know it cant mount of the top part of the transom but i was thinking in the blue part on the starboard side, behind it there is a board beefing that part of the transom up, nothing attaches to it. My father was wanting to rig something up with the swim ladder but that seems kinda scary.

Any ideas?
