1985 Evinrude Controls

Does anyone know where I can get controls for my 1985 70 hp Evinrude? I have called every marina in my area and they all say the controls for this motor are no longer available due to lack of parts because Evinrude stopped making them years ago. Older model controls will work but the wiring is different.

any controller with the big red plug will work with your motor. 1979 thru 1995 controller, it may not have trim n tilt, but that can be rigged to a toggle switch. Ebay is a good source usually $100.00 range.
