1985 factory bimini top

Thought I'd give this section a shot. I saw a picture of the exact same boat as mine, '85 Bayliner Capri w/85 hp motor, & it had a bimini top on it that went from the top of the windshield & covered the cockpit area. I think the mounting hardware is on my boat. Where would I find a new/used one? Ebay & craiglist n/g. Ideas???

Bimini tops don't attach to the windshield. I think you're talking about a camper or convertible top. Or maybe a bimini with a windshield curtain.

Bayliner sold the patterns for the canvas for many early Bayliners to Leta's Top Shop. Give them a buzz.

tecnically may not be a bimini top, but on my '86 it does snap to the top rail of the windsheild, with a zippered area to access the bow, the support rod is clamped to a plastic rail on the inside of the side windows beside seats, and a web with clasp hooks to small ring mounted to side gunwale to keep it taught.

I am missing some of my windshield clips plus one of the plastic on one of poles is broke where it attaches to the side wall rails. Does anyone know where I could buy those parts. My top is in perfect condition other wise. Mine is a 86 1900 br with a 125 force. Very clean other than the clips and the one pole for my bimmimi. Does anyone have a picture of there boat withit up????
