Does anyone have any ideas? Still waiting for a reply.<br /><br />Hello, I have an intermittent power problem that I'm having trouble diagnosing. Starts right up, idles nice. First noticed when driving WOT. The engine slows to 1/2 power as if 2 of my 4 cylinders are not working. 5 or 10 seconds later, it will resume full rpms. It does this back and forth every 10 seconds or so. If I pull back on the throttle and drive say at 1/2 speed, it will still cut out to a slower rpm and jerk back and forth between them. Tough to diagnose. I replaced the stator 2 years ago. When it went, I had no spark on 2 cylinders. Reversed wires and spark changed to the other 2. Can stators have intermittent power issues? CDI intermittent issues? Fuel pump not sending enough fuel to 1 of my 2 carbs? Please help.
