1985? nissan 55hp wiring help

i have a 55 hp nissan in which the wiring harness was cut, i need some help in how to wire this thing up. it was cut outside of the motor, i just need to know what to do with the wires, which ones go together for it to run. thanks

That information can be found in your service manual....Usually when someone gets an engine with cut wires it's because it's stolen.

was stolen its a theft recovery, therfore i dont have an owners manual

Yes, Owner's manual from the factory website, and a Factory Service manual from a parts/service dealer.

Are you sure it's a 55 hp? That seems odd. FWIW, Tohatsu/Nissan OB's are referenced by model and serial, not year of manufacture and HP.
