1985 Nova 23 XL - looking for info

Back in the 80's, did Wellcraft supply owners manuals or other documentation with their new boats? If so, I would like to obtain one for my 1985 Nova 23 XL. Curious about specs, load capacities, recommended maintenance, options that were available, etc that might be in original documentation.

Don, on Wellcraft's homepage, click on the Resources link and then go to Product Information Guides, they do go back to 1985. Not sure what all as far as manuals is available from them, but this should help get you started.

I owned a 1985 23 Nova XL for 18 years. They did not originally come with an owners manual, just the legal sales documents and some general info on engine and outdrive maintenance. Your best bet is to find a vintage sales brochure for 1985. I bought one on ebay. They list the dry weight, length, beam, standard and optional equipment, etc.

Any luck on the manual. I just purchased a 1985 nova 23 XL and would any info on the boat. I love the ride as she handles the rough waters of Lake Norman NC well. Having some troubles but to be expected for a used boat. Appreciate you response.
