Like the title says the motor onto turnover. The night before it messed up I ran it with water hose for 15 minutes making sure everything is good. Now it wont turn over from ignition or from crossing the starter. The starter just spins and doesn't catch. I spinner the propeller while boat was in gear and the pulleys and flywheel both move freely. Also. I swapped the starter and the same thing. I looked on forums but cant find anything, also i checked my new sparkplug and theyre clean. Any help is appreciated!!

So is the starter just spinning on its own, or is the engine cranking? Not really clear. If it is cranking, check for fuel and spark.

never mind. Sorry I got that fixed. But I got no power to the boat. The only way to crank it is from crossing the starter. When I turn the key in the ignition I hear a click and that's all. no lights, horn, gauges, bilge nothing. No electrical power. Anybody know what the could be? I checked fuses behind gauges and the 2 on the solenoid plate

If you are unfamiliar with the wiring color codes for these, get a wiring diagram (from a manual, internet etc). Follow the electrical path from the battery and determine where the power stops using a multi-meter. I'd advise against a test light as they only indicate voltage present, not necessarily the correct amount. Make sure all connections are shiny and clean all the way through the system. Sounds like the main power wire(s) and/or the ground for the helm aren't making it there somehow. That'll get you started.

Does anyone have a baylinetcapri with the same motor? If so could someone take some pics with the wiring harness? I'm having trouble finding a harness online
