I know a few manufactures like Caravelle and Glastron are producing no wood construction hulls,I can't and never will be able to purchase a brand new boat, And I have no problem fixing any mechanical problem,But I am not looking forward to replacing any more transoms or floors,So that being said. Can anyone tell me what Manufactures sells no wood construction hulls and what year they started?

Re: 1985 or up fiberglass boat with no wood construction

These are the only pics I have at the moment. They are the pics the guy I got it from advertised. He said the boat looked the same other than the some bottom paint wearing off.I will post pics when I get her home,She is 85 miles south.I went and started it up.The boat looks no where near as good as these pictures do.Rub rail sections missing and bent ,some rash on the cap end.Badly Bent prop shaft and strut which was removed. The rudders are locked up tight, no bimini top, port trans wont shift,And the cable is bad, loose side windows, cracked hatch.and more..But the floors hull and transom and top are solid.I am waiting on a trailer I am renting to get the boat home.I forgot the camera when I left the other day.I will link to kodak gallery site like I did for my how I spent Saturday afternoon (free boat) post because I cant attach good size pics here.I have just found a 33 coho with no engines or transmissions for a grand' I am going to look at it this weekend.I am hopeful to put the drive train from the 27 in the 33 but if it is in worse shape I will just put the elbow grease into the 27.Hmmm not a bad name for a boat.
