I just picked up a 1985 Suzuki DT55 that I am trying to get running. It was in storage for a year. I replaced the spark plugs and rebuilt all 3 carbs because #1 was flooding out. I checked the compression and all 3 cylinders are 120. The engine starts hard, runs very rough and will make a loud chirp noise as it appears to misfire out the exhaust port in the rear of the motor.<br /><br />Any ideas on what this chirp noise is? Also it usually will stall the engine when it makes this chirp at idle.
