Hello hoping for some help.. I have had this boat for about 6 years.. ran good 2 years ago when the starter went out at end of season.. I had the starter rebuilt and put it back on but never tested it or took it out. The boat has sat for 2 years and I went to try to get it running.. I pulled the spark plugs and foamed the cylinders. Checked compression. Put new battery on. And went to check for spark but I'm not getting any spark to any of the 4 coils? I know it needs a rectifier since I cant find the one I took off when I replaced the starter lol but that wouldn't cause this... not sure if I disconnected a wire 2 years ago that I forgot about or what. Can someone point me in a direction for what to test for and how to test it? I tinker with mechanics but I am not one... especially when it comes to the electrical side of things. I uploaded some pictures.. this engine has 2 relays and 2 circuit breakers. So not sure if I need to check these? Or what. Thanks for the help. It's an old boat and needs a lot of cosmetic work done as well. That's why I'm not taking it to my boat shop

Before you get too far in tearing into things check the kill switch (Black with yellow tracer, usually).
If this line is grounded there will be no spark.

outboardignitiondotcom or CDI Ignition has test procedures for your motor.
Check the fuses under the dash.
Some Forces have a fuse that if blown or has a bad connection it can stop the spark??

Thanks guys it was the kill switch... I disconnected it and got a spark in all 4 coils... so yeah thank you... 1 problem down 100 to go lol..

Another question I have.. so 2 years ago I took the rectifier off and forgot what I did with it or how it was wired up... I got a new one and it has 1 positive 1 negative and 2 starter connections.. it has 2 yellow wires from the stator. It has 2 red wires coming up from a circuit breaker... are those both positive wires? And it doesnt have a ground wire? How do I wire it up? Im sending pictures as well

Before connecting the wires trace the two red and check where they end up.
One should go to the circuit breaker/fuse and the other to the positive terminal (red, check the deckal) at terminal stripe at engine block.
The two yellow should be at the AC terminals at the rectifier, does not matter which one you conncet to which AC terminal.
The two red should be at the positive terminal at the rectifier and then connect a wire at the negative terminal and ground it to the block.
