This is housing I just removed. Is there supposed to be a rubber grommet or seal between the top of the metal cup, inside, and the bottom of the plastic housing that the shaft goes thru (on top)? There is just a 1/4" empty space. I have a new impeller kit but came with no new housing . It does have a 1/4" thick rubber washer that I guess fits over the shaft and on top of the water pump housing (outside-top). PS TRIED TO UPLOAD PHOTO BUT NO LUCK.
