1986 1750V Floor Question

I just bought a 1986 1750V with a 150 Merc XR2. The boat runs and drives like a champ but needs a few things to make it more like new. The main thing I want to repair first is the floor. A soft spot has developed in the back floor area where the deck drain is located. The soft area is about 3' x 2'.

Is there anything tricky about repairing the floor in a Procraft? Any guidance or advice is appreciated.
