1986' 200hp Yahama Outboard Oil Pump Leak

I have a 200hp yahama outboard with a oil pump that constantly leaks. I pulled it off and discovered that two of of the six bearings are shot which causes the oil to leak into the carbs. I bought a new replacement and discovered that they discontinued the old one, and in order to use the new style pump you need to replace the oil rod by splitting the motor. So now im basically stuck with my old one and was wondering if there are any options to stop the leak besides splitting the motor?
