86 Searay, 4.3 OMC W/Cobra drive . Recent buy. Block is cracked- Found replacement sources but do I have a Right or Left rotating engine. OMC Tag is missing. But on another of my post I found , by using the engine cast # 14088553, and help from others that I have a OMC 432APC(?)WXS. The ? would be R or L. Thanks for any input.
On a side note, the engine purred like a jewel when I started her up with great oil press, shifted great, but then after a few minutes I noted the oil press drop some, then the next thing I see is the dreaded oil water mix pouring out the valve cover breather tubes. The PO had said the engine was rebuild --however, its apparent he just never winterized it--what a waste. May just order the short block--will see what heads look like when I take apart.
