I took my upper outdrive somewhat apart and found that the dog/slide shoe was worn on one side. One side had a groove and the other did not. The Penta 275 upper outdrive had NO grease it there. <br />Would this cause the throttle to stick if there was too much gap where the dog is suppose to go in the upper drive? This 1986 Bayliner has been taken care of through the years. Only 2 owners..a father and then his son.
