I had my carb rebuilt the other day and went to put it on yesterday. When I disassembled the carb I took pictures with the camera well my wife formatted the camera card with my pics. So Now I am kind of left in the dark with were my vaccumm lines go. Is there a diagram on the great wide net that I could reference to? Thanks. 4 Barrle qjet rochester

If I am not mistaken, there is a vaccum diagram on the fan shroud that should help. For the most part the line sshould fall pretty close to thier proper place. If not its time to get a chiltons manual.

What kind of vehicle? I'm guessing here a Chevy Suburban? I can give you a few tips, directly on the back center of the carb is a large port (tube, or hose) that is used for the power brakes (vacuum all the time), sometimes there is a small port attached to this for transmission shifting vacuum, next usually on the front center of the carb is another large port (tube or hose) that is used for the PCV valve. Now it gets tricky, on the front right side is a small tube usually for vacuum spark advance, and generally on the left front of the carb is a small port for the choke pull-off vacuum diaphram. This is the best I can recall from memory, a clear picture, or a few, of your exact carb might help jog my memory, or let someone else chime in with their opinion which also may help.
