looking for jet sizes for carbs. model e140tlcdc, serial#g1134300. thanks in advance for any help

yes know they are fixed, idle,midrange,high speed,<br />not sure jets are correct due to the fact that two low speed jets are differant from the the other two low speedjets. just looking for factory settings for jets

i have a set of 1985 140 tlco carbs and they can be removed & cleaned or replaced<br />-<br />the E140 tlcdc translates to a 1986 140.<br />what are the #s on the jets that you have?<br />there are 3, 2 on the front face of carb & 1 in fuel bowel.

the lower jets on the face are (2)@ #16, (2)@#20<br />the upper jets on face, midrange Are #28 on all 4 carbs. high range on the fuel bowl are #61d"s

2K, you wouldn't have a stator for the same by any chance???

no i sure dont.<br />i bought those carbs for backup.<br />do you know what the number is stamped into the side plate of each carb?<br />port carb<br />is <br />20 & 28<br />starboard carb <br />16 & 28<br />does that sound rite?

2k, only 2 of carbs have #'s ontside both differant, I have have only one due to them beening installed. MX10BM, 43833, this is on the side plate, if interested when I pull them off I will get the 2nd # off the side of the other carb,<br />why do the port and starboard carbs have diffeeeerant low speed jetting. I did not pay attention to when rebuilding carbs otheeeer than put #16's on the lower compression cyls. :rolleyes:

i was just looking at my 87 parts cat. when you posted the 2 different numbers. i had thought that only 1987 had the different #s for port and starboard. but yet i dont know about the service bulletins.<br />1987 lists 431883 as a 140 carb.<br />so i was just being curious.<br />you said your motor runs great as is. thats better than mine. im still trying to get it back together.

not sure why two differant lw speedjets, starts great, smokes at idle,cold natured
