I pulled the power head to fix a exhaust leak between it and adapter plate and found there was a piece of the lower crankshaft (where the driveshaft goes in) that's missing.
This is below the splined area but still where the lower portion of the seal rides.
It ran like this all last season so how bad is this ?
The motor runs great otherwise and before you ask, no, I'm not the one that broke the piece off.
If I do have to replace the crankshaft will there be a balance problem with my existing flywheel ?
