What I need is someone to tell me how to find a fuel only pump to replace the VRO. the Model # is E150STLCDC (motor) the part number for the VRO is 0174307. How and Where can I find this part. I have searched the interWEB for 3 hours now!!!!! lol I'm going nuts! Ain't boating fun?!

Do you want to go with an oil mixing pump again ?? or do you want to go with a premix pump ??
#0174307 is an oil mixing pump by the looks of it.
#0393648 is a premix pump and you will need 2 of them for your 6 cylinder motor.

So I will need two of the premix pumps? Ok when I install them do I put them in line or split the fuel line from bubble into two lines then after pumps back to one?

Again thanks so much for your help

This link is to my first post about my problems. New information is that we put 2 new vac fuel pumps on the motor. Took it to the lake and it runs great at half throttle, but push to full and it's like running out of fuel boggs down. So, I switched the fuel line from the boat fuel tank to a new 6 gallon outside tank, and still same problem. I am thinking it a vacuum problem somewhere?? Any suggestions?? Oh and another thing as long as I pump the bubble once every 20 to 30 secs it runs like a champ.

Thanks for all the info.

Re: 1986 Johnson GT 150 Fuel pump

New info!! I changed the fuel filter again, and the vacuum fitting that goes into the motor I took out and cleaned out. Took it out to the lake and at first it was running like crap. After it ran for a few minutes it ran great for awhile. I ran it up the lake about a mile, then back down the lake a mile, and everything was great. On my way back up the lake almost at the mile and blahhhhhhhhh it dies out. Let it idle a few min. then go again and runs great again. I SO CONFUSED NOW!!!
