Hello All,
I have a 1986 Mariner 75Hp and have just encountered a problem recently; the mortor has always ran great and then one day I went to start it and it took the choke to get it started (after it was warm already) and high throttle to keep it running. It will not idle and when I go to put it into gear real fast it dies. Any thoughts? It does not smoke but very little which is not the norm. It has an oil injection poly bottle in the battery compartment but I think it's mixing ok. I was told to cut that thing loose and mix directly into the fuel tank. can you confirm this?
Thanks,
Jim
