Hey,<br /> Over last summer i sold my 1986 Merc 9.8 To my uncle, his nephew have been running it. when i sold him the motor it made a low grumble at idle, now i herd the motor be held wide open and than crammed in to gear by his nephews. by winding it up the gruble has gotton worse, i had the motor for 3 year the noise never got worse. What could this noise be, it has good compression, shifts good, the noise seems to be comin from in between the lower cylinder and the lower unit! any help will be apprecated
