when you back of of the idler screw you are increasing the amont of fule is this fule comeing out of the welsh holes at idle speeds an then later out of the main jet at higher rpm? anoter one.....if ther is gass in the mouth or the carb dose this mean I'm running to rich?

When adjusting the carb, when you turn the needle in it leans the mixture and out richens it. As far a fuel in the carbs throat it is normal but it should not be runing out of the throat either

if per chance you are indeed refering to fuel running out of the thoat (front) of the carb, my main suspects would be the needles and seats getting old. simple procedure to replace, and the parts are cheap.
