1986 suzuki dt85 goldie colour

my motor has new pistons crank etc,when out fishing and i stop the motor and restart after 30 mins to 1 hour it will start fine but when i put it in gear to move it will die,or i will get drive but have a lot of power loss and then off we go or stall ahain.Ive tried to increase the idle via the knob on the front of the engine casing but nothing noticable happens.

Might be fuel starvation at idle, or could be flooding. Check your sync and lync. If multiple carbs are not set the same, they will give you trouble. All must open and close at the same time. all butterflies should be in the same location under any throttle or idle. Your description is lacking info. Have you cleaned or removed the carbs.
