1986 wellcraft fuel problem

My 1986, twin 270 crusaders, will run for 1/2 hour then the rps drop off and engine quits, just the port engine. all filters are new. after the engine quit i PULLED THE FUEL filter and the canister was only 1/2 filled. does anyone know if there is a filter or screen on the pick up tube in the fuel tank.

If there were, both engines would die. My guess is a carb issue (needle/seat, float level), crimped/collapsed fuel line on that side, or a weak fuel pump.
