I recently traded for a 1986 Yacht Club trailer for my 18' foot Mariah. The trailer has a brand new axle and seems to be in good condition. My concern is there are some rust spots near the wheel wells and around a few of the corners of the trailer. I would like to know how to clean some of that stuff up and make it look alittle better along with get rid of the rust for obvious reasons. I have a minimal amount of tools and taking the boat off the trailer would also be hard to do to work on the trailer for much more than a day. Would it be possible to make any progress with the boat still sitting on the trailer. Please advise. Thank you.
