I was out on the Bay with my boat doing some crabbing and I start having trouble with my forward gear. I could get in gear sometimes and other times it was giving me trouble, but reverse worked fine. Once it was in forward gear the boat ran fine. I didn't notice any grinding or loss of power. When I first started having problems the motor was hopping at low RPM's. Other times the motor would go in gear no problem and sometimes I couldn't get it in gear at all. Any help would be appreciated. (Linkage problem or something more serious?) Thank you in advance!
