1987 35hp merc carb problem

i m working on my bosses boat for him it is flooding bad dripping gas from the carb we replaced the needle and seat but cant seem to get it adjusted right does anyone have the procure for this i can get he serial number if needed

It sounds like your float height is set wrong. As far as what the spec is on that, I'm not sure but I'd start there.

i was hoping to find the service procedure for setting the float what part do you bend and what is the height
