I remember posts on here that relays can be had for a few bucks at a store like Radio Shack. Do a forum search.

Or, you can get them for just the price of admission to a U-Pull-It auto junkyard. Around here that's $2. They are common in older GM vehicles. When I go parting, I always gather about six or so relays for future use.

yup. just a standard "bosch style" headlight relay. Some of the smaller outboards use the gasketed type. This is really just a regular relay with an outer shell glued onto it. You'll pay $10-$25 for the shell. If you put the relay inside your engine then you don't need the shell. If your engine goes underwater then you probably won't need the relays to work anyway. So just any 12v 5pin Bosch Style auto relay will work. The smallest amperage and the smallest voltage made is more than you need. So you don't even have to worry about that. However, do try to find ones with a bead of glue or other sealant around housing. This will moisture away from the innards and help it last longer. Try parts express, ebay, or other source of auto sound parts. They use the heck out of these things in car stereo and security.
