1987 90 HP Johnson Carb problem

alright, if you saw my earlier post, i got my powerpacks installed and the motor ran great for about 3 minutes, then gas started coming out of the carb. and died. now it wont crank. what are your thoughts? float stuck? if so, what is the easiest way to fix that. glad you guys are here to help!!!

Some of the gurus will chime in sooner or later but yes, it does sound possible that you have float stuck; you maight tap the carb lightly to see if it will let go or better yet take it off and rebuild it. There also might be a piece of the inner hose or other crap broken loose and holding the needle open which will in any case flood the engine. Good luck

its been raining here for a full week straight, or at least while i'm off work, but hopefully today it will get some attention. thanks for the help!
