Last Memorial Day I became a new boat owner of my Bayliner. At the time I believed I was taking it at a steal for $900, but little did I know.
Any ways long story to short... I've got one damn fine boat, CUSTOM. Also got a funny rash from the epoxy... another forum perhaps.
this site helped build this boat "Chillin the Most" and I wanted to think you guys ... you to Bondo. I'll post my pics as soon as I learn to.

1. You need to have a place that hosts the pictures first.

2.Go to http://www.tinypic.com and post your picture there

2a. There are lotsa free sites.
You will need to upload your picture(s) to that site.
If you can see those picture you should be able to post them here.

3. Shareaproject is cool look at my signature.
then
4. Click full reply form.
5. Then you need to click IMAGE lower left column.
6. In this box you will need the address of the picture some sites have a button you need to press and it will give you the address so you can post to autions etc.
7. Copy this address to the box.
8. And then click add reply.

>>>I highly suggest you just post a link to the picture as it will be easier on the people with dialup to view the post.<<<

As far as the epoxy rash goes.... DUDE BE CAREFUL!!! Wear a tyvek suit at all times when sanding, laying epoxy, etc. Also, wear eye protection and an adequate respirator with replaceable filters.

See here for tyvek suits, cheap on ebay (not mine so don't poof me, it's a supplier I use): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=53151&item=3878107666&rd=1

If you ruin your health, you may have a cool boat but they'll have to bury you in it!

Well, I just picked me up an 86 Bayliner Capri for $1400. I am just now starting to get into it. I can just imagine the surprises waiting for me to find, when I pull the carpet up in order to put down the new piece.

Re: 1987 BAYLINER CAPRI CUSTOM

Bondo I have invested about 2000 more that what I paid for it but, when I am done I can't think how buying a new boat is gonna make me any happier PLUS!!! My boy and girl have helped me and I will be able to replace or repair anything wrong and know just where its at. Thats seems pricless to me.

In a monitary way yes I have lost about 1000 as I can easily sell it for 2500 here maybe more if I want to work at it. But It might yet get passed down to my kid if we are still boating then. So you figure it out.

There is nothing a new boat will have that I cannot install on the old one. Yes even a new engine. So If I feel the Force is not working it will be trashed or Ebayed and a new motor installed. Or better yet a new motor from iBoats.
