The only gauges on a boat that are engine-specific are a trim gauge and the tachometer. The trim gauge requires a sender unit that is specific to the engine. If you don't have a trim gauge this is not a problem. The tach receives a sense or pulse signal from the engine. Some Force engines require a tach that is specific to that engine. Voltmeters measure battery and charging system voltage and therefore are not engine-specific. The gas gauge gets its signal from the sender in the fuel tanks so it also is not engine specific. speedometers are pitot driven and therefore are mechanical gauges -- again not engine-specific.
