Hello I am having problems figuring out the correct parts for my engine.
I have tried to find numbers for it and have found MO2267RB on the block but I am unsure how to correctly identify the engine and the parts that I need.
I am wanting to replace the head gasket and need to replace the manifold gasket as it began leaking on my last trip out.
I do not know where to look for the numbers.
Can someone tell me where the pertinent numbers are?
Any help with finding the numbers I need is appreciated

The motor parts, gaskets and points and carbs etc.
Are all the same for 99% of the motors. Every manifold on the 87 used the same gaskets. So if yours is a v-8 it uses the same gaskets.
The difference in models and model#s is usually a small change like a fastener change or something like that.
The outdrive is a different story

Thanks. I just noticed that when I was shopping there seemed to be different ones at different price points on the same site for the 3.0 engine.
The outdrive has a tag on it that says it was originally a 3.0 but I can't seem to find the number that some sites ask for.
It is something like 302AMARJ and various other combinations of letters.
I was wondering if anyone knows where that is stamped or if you could link me to the correct head gasket and manifold gasket?

I see now what you mean when looking on another site.
It is less confusing and lists two different head gaskets which both fit all engines listed but one lists others as well.
Next question and maybe you aren't allowed to list it I don't know but can anyone tell me a few good places to purchase the parts from?
I am a first time boat owner so I need all the help I can get. :)

You have a 1987 OMC Cobra 3.0

The head gaskets are all the same now. 3853336 is the OEM part number.
