I've been working on this Bayliner Trophy for a couple of months. I bought the boat in Alabama and drove from Houston to get it. This one has been a lot of work, but it is turning out nicely. Here are some before and in progress pictures. The last photos were taken today. The engine goes back on tomorrow. I'm hoping to get the boat wet in about a week.

I'm getting closer...lol. The boat is out of the tractor shed and ready for the engine to go back on. I still have a lot of little touch ups and some wiring to finish up. I'm hoping to be finished before May 1st....

Your work is absolutely gorgeous. Myself and another forum member had poor luck with Easypoxy albeit on aluminum hulls. Make sure to use your fenders religiously because if I even look at a dock wrong mine gets damaged. I will be interested to hear how yours holds up and I hope it's better than mine.

I planned mounting the engine, but somehow plans always seem to change..lol. I finished some of the dash and installed the bimini top.

Thank you ezmobee,
This is the second boat I've done with Pettit Easypoxy. It takes a few weeks for it to fully cure. Every fender I had on the first boat turned the color of the paint. I keep a little on hand for touch ups, but when it gets hard, you can hit it with a hammer. This boat has been a lot of worrrrkkk...lol This is the 9th boat I've done. I have a small shop on the coast of Maine, but when I'm in Texas, I'm in the drive way...lol. I need a new hobby..... :(

Kcassells, the wood side rails are original to the boat. It's all teak & was in pretty bad shape. I did a light sanding, stained it "red mahogany" & then added a few coats of satin poly. The doors and dash area are solid oak, stained red mahogany also.

I managed to get the engine bolted on today. I just need to finish wiring the gauges and hook up the sound system. Hopefully sometime next week I'll start some sea trials...

Put the trim tabs back on and installed the new VHF and stereo. I need to make my daily run to West Marine for more screws...lol
