Hi, hope one of you guys with more knowledge about these modules than i have can help me with this.
i have a 1987 mercury V6 200hp serial no OB156349. my oil warning module stopped working and here in the UK a good used one are like hens teeth.So i looked to ebay to source one,i had read that the part no for mine is 41470A11 anyway found one on ebay which said it was for V-150-XR-2 Mercury V6 135 150 and V6 200 but part no was 41470A3 i asked if this would be Ok for my engine and was told yes it would work fine.The thing is when i got it one of the wire colours were different, mine has one blue and one white,this one has two white.What i am wanting to know have bought the wrong one or will it work if i can figure out which white wire goes to blue.
