1987 center console aluminum support?

I am looking to replace our alluminum framil in the center cosole of our 1987 starcraft vbottom at our fire house. it would be identical to the picture below. can anyone help or have any suggestions?

Are you talking about the aluminum grab rail around the console?

the bottom feeder plan: find an electrician friend who has a hickey to bend 1" tubing, get some 7/8 or 1" alum tubing from Defender, fill with damp tamped sand and cap ends with duct tape, and have at it.
